Press Gang Cellars fruit is hand picked, hand sorted, fermented using native yeast, and extended aging without interfering with a wines natural life. I love the "tried and true" winemaking methods, but also consider myself to be very progressive in the cellar.
I learned from the ground up, as a cellar rat. Then I took an internship at a local winery and went to Western Australia. Upon returning home, I jumped right back into the wine industry as an assistant winemaker. I knew, early on, that I wanted to create something different, against the grain so to speak, to represent my style of wines.
Press Gang Cellars is all about working hard and having fun while doing what I love. My wife, Savanna, and I have worked hard to start this label and can't wait to share the results.
